In the video, five speakers discuss their knowledge and expertise about Party and Play in gay and queer men’s communities. We explore what Party and Play is and how drug use is connected to sex in the context of gay, queer men who have sex with men (GBMSM). The speakers explain how and when GBMSM uses Party and Play, whether alone or in group sex, and what the drugs do to facilitate more pleasurable sex, from relaxing anal muscles and reducing inhibitions to intensifying orgasms. The speakers explain some of the benefits of Party and Play for GBMSM in managing internalized shame, homophobia and the numerous ways Party and Play helps GBMSM own their sense of self and confidence in being their authentic self.
